Amira Fox to Lead Candlelight Vigil

Amira Fox, State Attorney, 20th Circuit of Florida will lead and speak at this year’s National Overdose Prevention Education (NOPE) Candlelight Vigil, September 26 at 5:30 p.m. The event begins at Library Plaza in downtown Fort Myers, and participants process to Centennial Park for an address by Amira Fox. As part of the observance, the names of those lost to overdose will be written in chalk. This event is free and open to the public, reservations are not needed. Participants can bring photographs for our Warrier Wall. This event is sponsored by the Lee County Coalition for a Drug-Free Southwest Florida, Hope By Song, Derrek’s Mission Foundation and the Hanley Foundation. The NOPE Candlelight Vigil is a national observance.
