The Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer’s Resource Center and Florida Gulf Coast University will be hosting a 2nd Annual Conference on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
The highlights from the conference this year include:
• Three distinguished physicians as featured speakers. They are coming from The Mayo Clinic, Washington University in St. Louis, and the University of Florida.
• The topics of the symposium are: deep brain stimulation as a treatment modality, advances in Lewy Body Disease, and the role of tau proteins in the diagnosis and therapy of Alzheimer’s disease
• There is no charge for the Symposium other than to those seeking CEU’s. Four CEU’s will be offered to Nurses, Social Workers, Nursing Home Administrators and Guardians.
