Facial Plastic Surgeon Dr. Stephen A. Prendiville has announced that Naples Facial Plastic Surgeon Dr. Kriston J. Kent is now associated with Assuage Luxury Spa in North Naples.
Kent is moving his Kent Center for LIFE into Assuage Luxury Spa at 1201 Piper Boulevard. The Kent Center for LIFE is dedicated to improving health from the inside out, including nutritional counseling, life coaching, stress avoidance and mental and physical wellness.
He also will be offering non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments to his patients, including injectable wrinkle fillers Botox®, Sculptra®, Juvederm®, Restylane®, Radiesse® and Voluma®.
“I am delighted that Dr. Kent is bringing his preventative medicine knowledge to Assuage, which enhances our mission of enriching overall health by taking a holistic approach to the entire individual, including mind, body and spirit,” Dr. Prendiville said.
Assuage, which means to soothe or satisfy, was created by Tehjan Prendiville, a registered nurse and the wife of Dr. Prendiville, who serves as Medical Director of the spa. The Naples spa is the second location opened by the Prendivilles. The first Assuage Luxury Spa opened in South Fort Myers in 2013.
Kent, who led a successful facial plastic surgery practice in Naples for many years, decided to dramatically alter his medical practice in 2010 when he obtained a Masters in Public Health in Lifestyle Medicine from Loma Linda University. He also completed a rotation at the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine at Harvard University and at the Center for Lifestyle Medicine in St. Helena, Calif.
Since returning to Naples in 2012, he has assembled a team of professionals to provide a new model of preventative medicine which is patient-centered. This team includes a nutritionist, physical fitness/exercise specialists, behavior specialists and certified health and wellness coaches.
